Sell house after discharge....

If all goes well with Bk, how soon can I sell my house after my Bk discharge? My ex-husband and I own a home together and he is pressuring me to sell it. We will each get about $10,000-$15,000 from the equity.

Will I have to surrender my share of the equity to the Trustee if I sell shortly after my discharge? Is there a waiting period?

So long as the equity is exempt, it won't matter.

So long as the trustee doesn't claim the home equity for the BK estate (i.e. meaning he thinks you have some non-exempt equity), you can sell the house any time after discharge.
