My confirmation hearing was on 8/22/07, we did not need to appear & lawyers office said everything went fine. When I checked Pacer this morning there was an order for Confirmation signed by the Judge. I do have a car that I am going to surrender (it's dead) & my atty said that I can use the car until finance company picks it up, but I've already cancelled insurance & turned in plates on it & I called finance company yesterday & spoke to owner's daughter & told them they can come & pick it up at anytime, she then told me that I don't know if that it what my father wants to do but I will let him know. What choices do they have, can they refuse to pick up the car & ask the court that I pay for it instead? I owed them @ $1200.00 & the car is worth about $500.00 & they have not filed a claim yet.
