Since my X dropped off the face of the earth and is a no show for our final hearing I am able to get a 46k judgement against for our marital dept. Biggest issue I believe is she wasnt an authorised user on the credit cards which I should of made her looking back now.
I know a judgment against someone who isnt going to be or be able to be found easily isnt worth much, but will it help me in my BK Im filling about 70k in unsecured debt by showing the trustee the judgement as a valid reason for my ch 7?
Should I let my credit card companies know this reason as they are starting to call even after a week of late no payment. Ive just been dodging the calls atm. or just keep dodging them for the 90s until I can file ? I live in Texas.
