Recently my wife was alerted by a credit monitoring company, that a collection agency updated some information, actually re-aged a debt, but also changed her address back to an address where she hadn't been since July 2003.
This agency obviously still has her old address on file, and when they updated the information with Experian they used her old address.
If for any reason she would request a printed credit report, write a letter requesting one and end it with:
Sincerely
Name
Actual address, line 1
City, State, Zip
where would Experian send it? To the old address ("updated") by the collection agency, or to the address in her letter?
