    If filing without husband, do you list his income on this schedule. I sont really understad it. Thanks alot!!!

      so that would mean on schedule j i would show about 2000 disposable income because of my husband even though he is not filing. Does that mean i could not file 7? I pass the means test for a 7 because i get to subtract what he does not contribute, but that doesnt seem to matter from what i read, that it really depends on the schedules. Is that true? Thanks for all the help

        It really depends on how much of the bills are applied to each of you. But yes you would have to list it.

        Maybe someone that filed solo even though married can pipe in

          I'm technically married, but I filed alone because we don't live together, so my husband wasn't on mine at all. Besides the fact that he has no income.

          But I was told that you count his income in the spouse column, then what he doesn't pay toward household expenses is subtracted on the marital adjustment line.
