Why do some banks/credit cards limit peoples' cash advance limits to substantially less than their actual credit limits?
Examples:
My HSBC MC - credit limit $4500, cash advance limit $2500
BUT
My Aspire Visa - credit limit $3000.cash advance limit $3000
Some of my other cards have the same total limits, others don't.
Why is that??
