Jobs Contacted?

I was told by my attorney (in Georgia) that the only reason my job would be contacted about my filing Chapter 13 is if I decided to have the monthly payment deducted from my paycheck and not my husband's. The person in my office who handles this has the tendency to "run her mouth" and because of that we will probably decide to have the amount come from my husband's paycheck(in an entirely different state and a much larger company so the chances of anyone in his department finding out are pretty slim). Is there any other reason why my place of employment would be contacted. I'd be really pissed if I found out that my co-worker mentioned my business to anyone.

There would be no reason for the court or trustee to contact your employer. But keep in mind, BK filings are public record.
