341 Mtg (no worries!)
To all that are wondering and worrying: We had our 341 meeting today and I can say that if you are prepared and honest there is absolutely NO reason to be afraid. Our atty had all of the paperwork and had prepared us well. All that we had to bring was our SS card and DL. The trustee swore us in, asked us to state our full name/address and asked us several simple questions about our case. We walked in to the meeting at 1:30 and was on our way to door at 1:40. We had about 33M in CC debt and reaffirmed two vehicles and a mortgage.

i know this may sound silly, but i am new to all this bk stuff. could someone please tell me what it means to reaffirm your mortgage> i am thinking it is a good thing, to get to keep your home. :oComment

Basically, when you reaffirm you are agreeing to continue to make your payments to that creditor as if nothing had changed.Comment
