Currently we live in a mobile home. Where we live, they are closing the area down and have asked us to move. Unfortunately, there is no where to go and we don't have the funds or the credit to purchase land. So...our only alternative is to move out of the house and file bankruptcy.
My question is this...do I have the lawyer contact the lien holder to inform them of the voluntary surrender of the home or should we do it? How long do they usually take to pick up the home? During this time..we will still accumulate lot fees while it's here.
This is scary as I have never done it before. Is it hard to file a Ch 7? Are they usually denied? What would cause it to be denied?
Currently I am employed, but it temporary work. My husband is employed full time. I am also a student. Do they take this into consideration?
Thanks you guys for the help!
