Does anyone know when we have to move out of our home? We want to stay as long as we can. However, we plan to file chapter 7 in Jan 2008 and will include our primary residence in the bankruptcy because we cannot pay for it anymore. This house is in Tennessee and we have lived here for 5 months and we have a "deed in trust" on this house.
To complicate matters more, we also have a home in Florida that will be included in the bankruptcy (cant sell it). This home was our primary residence for many years before our jobs brought us to Tennessee. This house has a mortgage on it.
