Expired debts over 7 years old

I rec'd this letter explaing that I have a debt that
is back in 1999 - I remember the debt, then i remember
this debt was on my report already at one time and is
now gone... this debt has already run its due course,
and now they are trying to reissue the debt back
onto my credit report...

anyone have typical problems like this... why cant
these credtiors just let it go...

Just send them a letter and let them know that the Staute of Limitations is passed, and they are to cease all communications with you!

(And check your credit report to make sure they aren't reporting it!)
