    Paid in full...Finally!

I have payroll deduction for my chapter 13. It was paid in full 3 checks (6 weeks) ago but they still keep taking out payments. How long does it normally take for the automatic payroll deduction to stop? I'm looking forward to having a full paycheck again. My attorney has emailed the trustee and I have also. It's almost impossible to get anyone on the phone.

Ours took exactly 3 months, they did continue to take out the money weekly.
when they finally stopped we did receive and refund of overpayment from the trustee.
It all went really quick when the ball got rolling.

    Congrats on final payment.

Congratulations! Isn't it a wonderful feeling??? I believe they took four or five extra payments (which would be ... what ... 2 or 2 1/2 months?) ... but we got a refund check from the trustee. I thought it was amazing to get this big fat check from the trustee ... but, as my husband pointed out, it was money that had been deducted from my paycheck to begin with. So, it wasn't really a windfall ... but ... it kinda felt like it for the moment! haha

In any case ... congratulations. Gamom02 is right ... once the ball gets rolling, it wraps up pretty quickly.
