    Last minute hospital bill and filing tomorrow!

    Just received a hospital bill after insurance didn't cover $1k. We are filing tomnorrow, and signing the paperwork today. It isn't too late to get this in is it?

    Also, we are expecting another bill similar in cost, but it hasn't arrived yet. What do we do?

    Before you finalize your paperwork, add this information for the new bill and the upcoming bill. If you don't know the balance of the upcoming bill, just list the amount as unknown, but be sure to list the creditor.

    If I recall, you hired an attorney, correct? If so, be sure to get in touch with him/her ASAP and let them know your creditor list will need to be changed. This may delay your filing a little, but that's better than having to deal with over $1K in bills after you've filed.

        Just did that. She is filing an emergency petition tomorrow so we can sort a couple more things out.
