    Nervous about liquidating assets!

    Hypothetically speaking...
How does the trustee determine if your "inventory" of assets is correct, and will they make you liquidate your furniture and grandmother's jewelry if it's of value? What is the allowance in florida for things like that...$1000 or $4000?
9/26/07 Initial meeting with atty, ch. 13
10/01/07 2nd meeting with atty, now ch. 7, received paperwork
Waiting to save up atty fee and turn in paperwork...let's get filed!!
10/31/07 Officially filed with case number!341 on 12/5

1000. unless you do not use your homestead exemption. Then it is 4000.

      thanks B12,
I'm going to let me house go into foreclosure so I really wouldn't need to use my homestead, or would I?

And Gma's jewelry,............ Take that to a Jewelry Store or Pawn shop and ask what they'd pay, Cash on the Spot, for the items. Jewelry isn't really worth anywhere near appraisal values. That's just what you might have to pay to replace a like item being made new, from scratch.
