    They keep selling the acounts...

Those collection agencies just keep selling off my accounts to multiple agencies... They show up as multiple entries on my credit report, and the whole thing is one big mess....

How on earth do you track all of these accounts? Furthermore, once the "last payment activity" has been on your account for seven years or longer, doesn't it have to be removed (assuming you haven't made any subsequent payments to collection agencies?) If this isn't the case then it could just go on and on forever on your credit report. The original creditor sells it... then it shows up on your credit report as a new entry with a new collection agency/acct #... and then it's sold yet again, and the process repeats itself... How do you get ALL of the entries removed from your credit report for ONE original debt that should rightfully be removed after the seven year mark has passed?

You can send disputes to the credit bureaus disputing the account as a duplicate and then they will remove it. You can also dispute an account that is older then 7 years and they'll remove that, too.

Most of them sell off the debts. When they do that you get a new bill and it starts the 7 year cycle again for the debt on the credit report. However the statue of limitations for your state would still apply

Actually, selling the account does not reset the reporting cycle. That's reaging an is illegal. NCO Group got pounded by the FTC for that stunt.
