Anyone remember??

Does anyone remember when Bank One ceased to exist, and if bought out by another by who?
When I filed Chapter 7 in 2004 I had included them in my petition. Since all my debts were discharged I assume they were too.
But it doesn't show up on any of my credit reports, nothing relating to Bank One is showm, not in the negative accounts section nor in the positive accounts section.
Will this ultimately bite me in the a..?

Chase bought out JPMorgan in 2000. They called it JPMorgan Chase because Morgan has the connotation of "old wealth."

JPMorgan Chase bought out Bank One in 2004. If the account is active, it will be at Chase.com.

If not active, it might show up on credit report under Chase or JPMorgan Chase. Since Morgan is private banking, your best bet would be to look for Chase, the credit card operation of the merger.

BTW, the CEO of Chase was retiring, so the management of Bank One took over. The guy from Chase retired with a gazillion dollars. Poor bassstttarrrd!

Update to my thread: Just took a closer look on my credit report. It lists that particular item within the "accounts in good standing" section - not as Bank One, but by Chase. Further comments:
Status: Transferred, closed
This itemis scheduled to continue on record until July 2015
Creditor's statement: Account transferred to another lender.
Sold to: Chem BK/Sold to B-Line 6/05.
So as I look at it now, my lawyer back in 2004 never listed this account in my petition, and obviously was never discharged.
But it also is NOT past due or delinquent, and is considered an "account in good standing. Should I be worried even though I never heard from Bank One/Chase?
