    How long?

Hello folks, thanks for all of your great help.
I have a question for all of your fine people out there.
From the time you file for Bankruptcy 7 and you get your 341 date 30 days later about, does anything happen between your filing date and your 341 date? Do creditors ever object to anything before your 341 meeting? What else can happen before your 341 meeting? Thanks for your great help.

Normally, nothing new happens BUT THINGS CAN HAPPEN..........

    Examples:

Trustee found and "unperfected title" on a mobile home that the attorney nor client knew about - thus resulting in the Trustee seizing the mobile home and selling it......... the client had reaffirmed on the mobile home but the mortgage company had failed to record their lien against it. Thus the client owned it free an clear - an asset for the taking to sell by the Trustee. SOOOOOOO, client lost their home!!!!!!

Incorrect paperwork can be found or missing paperwork.

People can change jobs, have income changes, or have a windfall or inheirtance. This changes everything at the 341.

Creditors can come to the 341 - thought VERY SELDOM. Usually has to be very unusual circumstances that they would.

The 60 day waiting period after the 341 is usually when creditors object, trustee objects to payment plans in Chapter 13's or US Trustee objects to something.

Yes things can happen and do........ but normally things go very smooth for most people.

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
