Just got a message from a creditor, assuming it was AMEX but the caller didn't specify. Anyway, she said they've called/left messages 134 times with no response and I have until 5 p.m. today before they move it up the chain or whatever.
I retained an attorney last week so should I just call them back and give them my attorney's number or just let it slide for a 135th time? :-)

12/04/07 -case pulled for random audit.
12/18/07 -341 held: Asset case due to engagement ring & tax return.
02/19/08 - US trustee files motion to extend.
04/02/08- changed back to NO ASSET! I get my ring back and get to keep my tax return! :clapping: 04/28/08 -DISCHARGED!!! :yahoo::yahoo: 05/07/08 - CLOSED!!!
They call me every day and it's my work number so I just ignore it. When I go to listen to my messages I catch the first part and then hit delete. Annoying but I'm so used to it by now. I only answer calls from my area code and let the rest go to voicemail. Yesterday I took that stupid creditor class in 30 minutes and it was a complete and utter waste of time and $36. Then I gave my attorney more paperwork and paid off my case and the filing fee. Now they just need to prep my paperwork and schedules and we'll be off.
