When I checked 13datacenter tonight it shows my last payment as a third party check/30 day hold. It was a money order from the post office! Does it matter where you get a money order? I even checked the stub, and it says money order right on it. My husband was having payroll deductions for about 32 months until he changed jobs. We did everything as required to change the wage attachment, but his new employer has not taken the deductions. I have mailed every payment in on time using a money order since that time. Now I'm scared, because I don't want to be dismissed and I just mailed yet another payment with a money order from the post office. Any ideas?

My trustee holds personal checks. Perhaps the person at the lockbox that posts the monies thought that that was what it was. However, you made the payment and it is posted, just on hold. And perhaps your trustee has had issues with postal money orders not being good? I wouldn't sweat it. Your payment is posted and made. The trustee won't disburse until the hold is off.
