    letter of dismissal

Got letter of dismissal from chapter 13 trustee today. Have fallen behind on payments and can't make them up. Court date is set for the end of this month. Do I have to attend? What will happen? (truck and house are included in plan)

You only need to show up if you intend to dispute the dismissal, and even then, it may do you any good, have you tried working anything out with the trustee, temporoary payment deferments, etc.

Otherwise the case will be dismissed, the automatic stay will be lifted and all your creditors can begin collection activity on their accounts. So, for example, if you are behind on your truck payments, they can repo your truck; if you are behind on your house payments, they can foreclose on your mortgage, etc. etc.
