Moving out of state after 341

Can anyone tell me if it will cause any problems if I move out of state -- from California (where I've lived since 1996) to North Carolina -- after my 341 meeting? I filed Chapter 7 on May 27th in Southern California and am moving to North Carolina on July 6th due to having lost 3 jobs through downsizing since 2001, a "significant other" leaving/moving to a different state and my mother in North Carolina who has a chronic illness and could use my companionship/help.

My case is fairly simple, I used a parelegal service since I couldn't afford a lawyer, I own no property, just a (previous lease) car, a 2000 Toyota that I owe 4 more years of payments on that I listed as an exemption and plan to reaffirm. My debt, about $36K not including the car, was all unsecured cc debt. A classic case of getting too deeply in cc debt and now having no money to pay it all since the job loss. I will have to find a new job once I get settled in NC so I hope that won't cause any problems either.

My main question is: how to handle the change of address? Should I just write to the court AFTER my 341 notifying them of the change of address so I will be sure to receive my discharge notification? I shouldn't mention it at the 341, should I -- my thinking on that is to not divulge any info that isn't specifically requested, is that pretty much the way to go?

I hope someone can advise me about this... Thanks in advance!

Come on, doesn't anyone know about moving out of state after the trustee hearing but before the final discharge? I guess I'm just going to put in a change of address with the P.O. and notify the court in writing after my 341... Do they ever ask at the 341 about one's jobhunting efforts, future employability or that sort of thing? Because I'm not looking for a new job until I reach North Carolina but I'd rather not bring that up at the hearing unless I have to. Other than that I have nothing to hide, I just didn't want to give the impression that I'm getting out of my debt responsibilities and running.

Anyone have ANY advice at all for me on this? Please?

It shouldn't be a problem, just file your change of address with the court.

Thank you very much, any little insight or piece or advice does help reduce my stress level, you have no idea how much.

        Good luck to you all...
