HI All.
new to this forum, can I just say that going through chapter 13 bankruptcy is so much more emotional and just draining than i ever imagined!
I have a question about my property in florida (I live in washington) I learned that in florida (the only state that does this) they can come after you for the deliquency between what hte property sold for and what you owe (any other state just wipes the debt for the secured house in bankruptcy)
does anyone know how the mortgage companies file their claims before the property is sold? i.e. I filed chapter 13 TODAY and the property isn't sold they have 3 months to file a claim and odds are the house will not sell by then.. does anyone have experience with this?
Help!
