Student Loan Co-Signer

I co-signed for my husband's student loan back in 2003. We have filed for a chapter 7 just recently. My question is, is there a way I can remove myself as a co-signer for him? My husband is still not working, and he was able to defer payment until August of this year. Even after we filed for bankrupty, my income is still not enough to cover the usual monthly expenses (negative $207 with the student loan included in the itemized expenses). With a lawyer's help, is there even a remote possibility to get myself out of this dilemma? Thank you so much in advance for any advice given.
