Atty won't return phone calls

On 11/6 my daughter met with an atty re filing bk. Atty's told her she would file the following week. Atty hasn't filed and won't return my daughter's phone calls. I paid the atty $1299 (via credit card) on 11/8. Problem is daughter really liked atty. I'm so frustrated by this I could scream . This has been an agonizing ongoing thing and my daughter (and I) want it over. How does she get this atty to respond? If she can't, what am I going to have to go through to get the money we (I) paid her back?

Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

Problem is daughter really liked atty? How? As a personal friend? You just walk over his office and demand to talk direct. easy as 1-2-3.
