How does chapter 7 affect spouse's credit?

My wife is considering chapter 7. We dont own anything now, but I am concerned about trying to get a mortgage or any other loan in my name. Any Help?

my spouse filed chapter 7 in Jan., the attorney told me it wouldn't harm my credit at all as long as none of the bk dept. was joint debt.
