last 6 months had income of negative 100k

i am a stock trader who lost money in the market

after my 341, i am free to get a job that pays well and this is not a factor in the bk , is that right?

also a friend loaned me money to pay rent for the last 2 months, is that a factor

you need to let your attorney know everything of course. Attorney's hate surprises. LOL However, chapter 7 is a look at your finances on the date of filing and the previous 6 months to year. After that, yes, you can go get a better paying job. But wait until AFTER your 341 meeting to find it.

Also, if you are a stockbroker, i am assuming you are Series 7 registered. Don't forget to disclose this on your U4 form. The NASD will yank your license lickety split if you neglect to tell them that!
