Request to Purchase Vehicle APPROVED!!!

Hi Everyone! Received news from my attorney early this morning that the trustee has approved my request to "incur new debt" and purchase the vehicle I've been leasing. It took 2 weeks to the day for approval. My attorney told me earlier that it could take 4 weeks or longer, so I was quite surprised to get this news. It has made my Christmas!! Anyway, just wanted to pass this bit of good news on. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!!!

How did you obtain the financing to purchase the car you are leasing? It sounds like my situation is similar--my lease is up in Feb. 2008 and I want to purchase my car also, but I'm not sure how to obtain financing at this point. My lawyer doesn't seem to think the trustee will have a problem with incurring new debt, I just don't know where to go to get the financing.

Any advice you have would be appreciated.

Interesting I have tried this several times.

Attorney states that I have to have the dealer give me the approval, then he will turn it into the trustee for approval.

Dealers states that they need trustee approval before they can do anything.

is this just thier polite way of avoidance?
