I called and got the clerks office for our area/district.
We are 10 days past our objection deadline, and I noted that of the other cases filed this month with the same 341 date/deadline, we are of 4 that didn't get our discharges yet.
We had to rescind our reaffirmation for our car 12/18(this past Tuesday), our atty filed the motion to withdraw the reaffirmation, that is the last thing filed for us in PACER.
From looking at the months prior when I ran a report, the cases with our trustee and our division/area, discharges are granted one thursday a month. I saw 2 cases that were given discharges another day, but the rest are still pending(they are no asset, didn't bother looking that deep to see why they aren't done yet)
Do I call? Will it make waves? Should I not because I have an atty?
Just wondering if I should call. I looked at the cases filed in July, and the "stragglers" that didn't get their discharges that one date they are given per month still don't have their discharges... I am worried I will be treated the same as those, that we won't see anything anytime soon.
Any advice? I don't want to hang myself by calling and pissing anyone off, I thought the courts were busy, but obviously all these other cases got their discharge yesterday and we didn't.... wondering what is the hold up.
Thanks!
