After 341 You Can Get A Job

If you can get a job that pays well just like that, as in making 75,000 to 100,000 a year, to me that is being paid well...then why dont you just do that, pay back the debt & forget BK?
I dont see how anyone can base any kind of yes or no on much of anything on outcome, on just the 341. & yes, if the trustee wants to see a future paystub of what you are making like within a month or two of filing & after the 341 & before discharge, it can change the chapter 7. That is why they have Ch13
Even your attorney said it is better to file (in your situation) when you have no income, so why would you file & not wait until it is all over instead of basing it just on the 341?
Can you get even a part time job making cash? That is what I would do just for temporary.
If you file at 0.00 income for the last 6 months? Yes?
Then all of the sudden after the 341 you make 8 Grand a month, what do you think they will look at? The 0.00 or the 8K?
of course you can always take a chance they will never find out that you are making great money before discharge.
If you deal with stocks...well, I will just leave it at that.

I think technically you may be required to tell the trustee of any major changes during the 60 days after the 341.
My attorney said that anything over around 20% more should be reported.
As to whether anyone checks on this, I don't know...<<I am NOT an attorney, my comments are anecdotal only. Contact an attorney for advice>>
FINALLY DISCHARGED 92 DAYS AFTER THE 341!

I think erring on the side of caution and waiting until after discharge is probably ok, but your filing is a snapshot of your fiances on the day of filing when you file Chapter 7. You should be safe after the 341, though that's probably not set into stone, either. I took a job that was offered to me after the 341. I found out about it when I got home from the courthouse. I do not anticipate any issues because of the nature of Chapter 7.Filed CH7 - 10/13/05;
341 Meetings: 11/28/05, 3/20/06, 12/4/07 (3d time's a charm!)
Converted: 2/15/06 (to CH13), 10/15/07 (Back to CH7)
DISCHARGED: 2/15/08
