Hello, everyone!
I have been reading and researching the posts on this forum for several months and have found them to be of great value.
I filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy on November 14 and had my 341 meeting last week. I filed pro se. I live in Houston.
The trustee wants me to make several amendments and to look over the entire petition for inaccuracies and to fax the papers to him within 10 days.
Incidentally, I used one of the Internet petition preparers where you enter all your data online and they prepare and mail you the petition papers in an attachment and you print them out. I do not recommend this method to anyone. If I had it to do over again (and may... who knows?), I would hire a lawyer.
My question is this: Do I need to send the original amended petition to the bankruptcy court also? I assume I do.
Also, do you think the trustee is going to want me to come to another meeting with him so he can grill me some more? Or perhaps a telephone conference with him?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
