    is there any advocacy groups in southern cali for people like me with some mental issues that have contributed majorly to my debt that can help me do this bankruptcy? i'm 30 thousand in debt and no way to pay it. and i dont know what to do. i cant even afford an attorney.

    First, sit down with a attorney or two (free consultation) and see what options are open to you and your case.....

    Then check with the local legal aid office and see if you qualify for help with bankruptcy. Often a paralegal will help you fill out your paperwork or look over it before you file it.

    There will be certain fees that you will have to pay.... filing fees, etc... But you don't need an attorney to do a simple Chapter 7....

    And only a conversation with a free attorney will let you know where you stand and what your up against.

      if your income is low enough you could have the fee waived. I did.
      Sometimes life make you deal with ugly and hateful people ,just think of them as sand paper. They may scratch you and rub you the wrong way but eventually you end up smooth and polished and the sand paper becomes old and worn out.
