    Ha ha ha ha ha!

Got home yesterday to mail from our trustee (always makes me a little nervous if you know what I mean).

Turns out I got a really BIG kick out of it. It was our copies of an objection he filed in our case for a claim from Citifinancial in the amount of $5800. The reason filed was because claims were due 2/06, and they never filed theirs until 6/06.

I actually pointed this out to him a few months ago when I got a pacer account. He said that either he or our attorney would file an objection to the claim. Apparently, he just DID!

I realize this doesn't benefit us one bit, as we are not in 100% payback, so it just means other creditors will get a bit more, but I LOVE the fact that Citifinancial won't get SQUAT as they were such idiots to deal with (even before we filed). If my DH was even 1 day late, they would call my 80+ Year old mother in-law and get her all upset (even after us requesting they not do that).

    Wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!
Gotta find something to laugh about in a 13 some times!

You would be amazed at the number of creditors who try to file AFTER the 60 day objection period.....

Three cheers for your attorney........ creditors should abide by the laws also......

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Gotta find those rainbows in the storm, don't we ???

Actually, the attorney had nothing to do with it. I brought it to the trustee's attention, and HE filed the objection.

The trustee sent our attorney an email a while back mentioning this, and saying "do you want to file an objection, or do you want me to?". I don't think our attorney ever even responded (I've always felt our attorney has ADHD )

          Kinda cool, I think!
