Questions re: Extending time that US and local Trustee can file objections...

Just looking through Pacer and saw this document that went through on 1/3 (our 341 was on 12/26). US and local trustee have apparently extened the time to file their objections out until 8/1/2008?

What the f**k is this? We did stack vehicle exemptions to keep one car and we're paying the trustee cash value to keep the second, and he's taking out '07 tax return. Is this 6 month extension just a procedural thing in that the trustee assumes the case may stay open that long as he collects our cash for the vehicle and tax return? Or does he need an extra six months to audit the case and watch us in case I suddenly win the lottery or something? Input is appreciated and thanks in advance.

With out more info, it's impossible for us to even speculate as to why the trustee would file the motion.

Generally, when a motion to extend time is filed, it means the US Trustee wants more time to review your case for possible abuse.
