Has anyone here adopted a child after filing? Hubby and I are considering this. We of course realize that we will have to pay off our chapter 13 plan first. I am just curious if filing has made it more difficult for any of you to adopt. We should be paid off in 24 months or so. (only 4 months in so far.) Any info would be great. Thanks
