How much are you allowed to have in the bank when you go to your 341 meeting? I live in NY state. My husband is filing too. Thanks alot!!!

Its the amount on money you have in the account when you file that becomes part of your
BK estate.

There is not, at least in my area, a limit. However, if there is not an exemption to cover the cash, it's fair game for the trustee to take.Filed CH7 - 10/13/05;
341 Meetings: 11/28/05, 3/20/06, 12/4/07 (3d time's a charm!)
Converted: 2/15/06 (to CH13), 10/15/07 (Back to CH7)
