who will get the money?

"money sucker" asked the bank to levy my account for around $2000. i had about $800 in at that time. now they want me to pay up $1200.:cry:


i plan on filing chapter 7 in a week or so. who will the $1200 go to?

the bank? who gave away money that i did not have.:blush2:

the trustee? who will find out when i list bank as a creditor for $1200:aggressor:

or is possession 9/10 of the law and "moneysucker" keep the money:dry:

if you are filing in a week, don't give anyone anything. And definitely tell your lawyer about the levy. They might be able to force the creditor to give them money back.

Give the $1200 to the lawyer or keep it yourself. Let the bank and the collection people fight it out for the $2000!
