New to this community. It's been a great source of information. My husband and I are starting to begin the BK process. We are not behind on the basic bills yet ( utilities, mortgage) but can not keep up with the rest and soon I will be out of a job. My question is when do you stop paying the bills. We are just now looking for an attorney. Do you have to be behind when you get an attorney or file? Thank you.
