What does the AUST mean? Attorney US Treasury? What would they want have no money.

Otherwise it says that the last date to object to anything is on 8/1

mymymy, why would an assistant trustee be added? Because I am a no asset case?

Absolutely nothing to worry about..it just means that the trustee will have the AUST assisting him, it may even be normal oversight protocol coming from the Department of Justice. We had an AUST at our 341, too. Almost every case in my district has had the AUST present.

Now.. if your trustee starts hiring attorneys.. that's a different story..

First, just to clarify for everyone, there is a Bankruptcy Trustee who is overseen and appointed by the United States Trustee, the US Trustee is part of the Dept. of Justice.

In all Chapter 7 cases, the United States Trustee is added as a party, it is nothing to worry about.
