    rescheduling 341. how hard is it?

    is it possible to reschedule the 341? looking at Pacer we see that they have set the date for our 341 in April when my wife is scheduled to be out of town on a business trip. she will be out of town that whole week.

    does she need to cancel the trip (which would involve having to explain to her employer why she couldn't go, something we want to avoid) or will they reschedule?

    I believe it's pretty impossible to reschedule the 341. I would move heaven and earth to make sure you are there when they want you to be. Your life pretty much is in the BK courts hands for a while so get used to it. It SUX!
    11/14/07 -filed C7 12/04/07 -case pulled for random audit.12/18/07 -341 held: Asset case due to engagement ring & tax return.02/19/08 - US trustee files motion to extend. 04/02/08- changed back to NO ASSET! I get my ring back and get to keep my tax return! :clapping: 04/28/08 -DISCHARGED!!! :yahoo::yahoo: 05/07/08 - CLOSED!!!

      It's not impossible to move the date back (you just can't move it forward), but you really should explore any other possible options. Do you really want to needlessly delay your case?

      Do you have an attorney?

      If not, you can call the trustee's and ask for a continuance and simply explain the reason why. They will probably accomodate you.
