What would happen if you get a promotion at work with a pay raise before the 341 or right after the 341? this could be the worse timing ever.

Nothing would happen.
Your BK estate is created on the date you file, anything you earn after that date (except for inheritance and life insurance proceeds) is yours and outside the BK. -
HHM, I know you are the leading expert here and I don't doubt you. But I am curious about this because my attorney mentioned something to me - that if my income were to increase MORE THAN 20% after the 341, I would be technically required to inform the trustee.
