Had our 3 hour meeting with our attny and staff. Signed all our papers and he filed them at the courthouse this afternoon. Much to our surprise- we came in almost 30k under the median. While running the numbers- it was apparent that we can go ahead and sign the intent to surrender our van. We didnt need the payment as without it we were only 50 bucks on the positive side. Now we dont have to worry about the ride through! Yeah!! Other good news- our trustee is not taking the rebates due in May. We get 2400 so a nice chunck of change for us. We have decided to take some of it and plan a nice vacation for the kids- we have been doing without for so long and they deserve it. Its sad but true- the attny said since we basically have nothing he cant imagine us having any issues. Very glad that this step is over- now on to the 341!!

Good luck to you! I too have NOTHING! I just had my 341 meeting yesterday. It's really not that bad. but of course you won't listen to anyone until you've had your own experience. I hope it all goes well for you

Good for you Devils! So glad to hear it. Now if I can only get there myself. Expenses keep popping up that are making me postpone. Happy for you.
