Um, why does it make you want to vomit? They are simply stating facts.

The truth is apparently nauseating to this individual.

Todd - I have a question for you. We filed a Chapter 7; had our 341 in May; were on schedule to be discharged and then the bottom fell out. We received a motion to extend on the 59th day. Now the trustee wants a lot more documentation. If she wanted to convert why doesnt she just do it and not take us through all of this. They have literally asked for everything; obviously, some of it doesnt apply to us. I think they are looking for disposable income...we dont have any and sure dont have any assets. I have read several posts where the filer got hammered weeks before the discharge date because the trustee would not allow some expenses. If she didnt agree with our expenses why didnt she just disallow them then? We also got a notice from the "clerk of court" - isnt that the judge? today scheduling a hearing to consider the trustees motion...is that sop? Needless to say I am on stress overload. Would appreciate your input.

            Makes Me Want To Vomit

Read this link which was part of the other link. Facts don't make me vomit. Big business and heavy lobbying which will damage the little guy make me want to vomit. Catastrophic illness, etc. will ruin most people. The new bankruptcy law as explained by this attorney and its repercussions make me sick. Unless this attorney is way off base, there is a lot left to be desired for the average Joe who finds himself in a bad financial situation.
