    Any recommendations for Attorney's

    Any recommendations for here in southern CA. It seems like a lot of attorneys are not very knowledgeable about the whole topic and are just looking for the income. Looking for specifically LA County or San Bernardino County.

      Talk to few of them, ask around. Get somebody that has dealt with BK before and has good rep doing so.
      March 13, 2008 - Chapter 7 filed.
      April 15, 2008 - 341 Meeting.
      June 16, 2008 - Deadline for objections
      June 20, 2008 - Case closed!

        Make sure they are not overwhelmed!!!

        My BK Attny had more cases and filings lined up - in fact he had my paperwork for 60+ days before I gave em the boot. This fiasco would have all been done by now if I would have asked questions like this.

        Make sure you can access the attny via phone and/or email. My BK attny is awesome about responding back via email.
