    New Job Interview

I am in the process of declaring bankruptcy - have already filed, my 341 meeting comes up end of the month.

I was unemplyed for a while, and ended up taking a job that paid substantially less. If figure out expenses and such, and slid under the chapter 7 limits.

One of the places I had applied to called me the other day and want me to come in for an interview for a different job than the one I applied for. It is a little higher level, and pays about $10000 more a year (I am single, btw.). How much risk am I putting myself into if I go for the interview. How much risk am I putting myself into if I DON'T go and the trustee asks if I had the oportunity for other jobs? This has got a little worried.

It's unlikley that the trustee is going to ask you questions like that. The job you currently have, is the job you have, along with its particular salary. Just leave it at that. Everyone BK petitioner has the liklihood of securing a higher paying job. You may as well entertain the job interview, and do your best to secure that position.

    Good Luck!
