For me it was really quick. I filed on 3/17. My case was online with Pacer on 3/19. Experian was showing the reported BK by Thursday night (3/20) and Trans Union and Equifax showed up Friday (3/20). Additionally, two of my credit cards were no longer accessible online when I tried to login Saturday (yesterday). Hope this helps you.
That's fast! I wonder why they close your online access? Not like you can charge online.
I have read that though - I'm hoping my bank (Credit Union) doesn't shut down my online access - I have my car loan financed thru them too. I will be really mad if that happens.
I will have to check them tomorrow.
I'm going to check Pacer too, I have my password at work so I couldn't check it from home this weekend. It probably won't be there yet anyways.
I'm anxious/curious to see how much my score goes down.
Would you believe that my credit scores have yet to be affected by the BK? I subscribe to True Credit through Trans Union so I have access to all three credit reports and all three credit scores. So far all three scores have remained the same....then again my scores were already really low.

Best of luck to you!!
You filed not too long ago, so that be why they haven't changed. I am sure next month will be a different story.

Mine decreased by 35-40 points... further decreased by some false reporting by a couple of creditors. My FAKO TU score has actually gone up 27 points with in the last 2 weeks as balances have started to drop to 0.

I believe the reason most of them shut off online access is because they don’t want to give off the impression that they are trying to violate the automatic stay. Most credit card online sites usually say "Total Amount Due" or "Past Due Amount", etc somewhere with your account information. Same reason your statements will stop.
Sharksfan - your initial score looks close to mine - I have a 652 on Equifax and 670 something I think on TransUnion. Maybe they won't fall below 600 if I'm lucky.
whywhywhy - thanks for telling me why they shut off your online access, I was curious about that!

I'm hoping to end up not much lower than I started (low-mid 600's) when the dust settles. I've got 1 creditor incorrectly reporting a charge off (never late), 1 reporting 30 days late (questionable), and 1 reporting 120 days late/repo (never late)... all reported after my filing date.
I have never made late payments either and I filed approximately 2 weeks before any of my current cc's are even due, so they shouldn't be considered late, should they?
My score went up 70 points after I filed...lol. Shows you how bad my credit was. On top of that I got a credit card shortly after, and I am sure I never would have been aproved prior to bk.
