Will my car insurance or homeowners insurance go up after C7?

I was reading on another thread somewhere and something was said to make me curious.

don't know about homeowner's insurance, but your car insurance rates should stay the same - if you stick with the same outfit that you have your insurance with now. If you leave them and try a different car insurance outfit they might pull a credit report report on you and do their profiling crap.
