A "foreclosure rescue company" was fined big dollars recently by a bankruptcy court in Texas. Apparently, the foreclosure rescue company took advantage of some individuals in bankruptcy who were struggling with a mortgage. I have not seen a similar scheme in Kentucky, and I'm not sure exactly how the scheme works, but it may be something that individuals should be cautious about.
