I was wondering if anyone knew if trying to return to school during a BK was acceptable. I am wanting to take classes for medical coding and billing. The school I am considering does online classes which would be perfect for me. I can keep working and receive my degree in 12 months. I work in a small DME store and with this education I could most definitely make alot more money.
Anyway the classes will cost me about $3K which I will hopefully be able to save for. They offer guaranteed financing which has me worried because I didn't mention I was in the process of BK. I was hoping if at all possible to start school this summer. Problem is we won't probably have all this behind us by the time I would be starting and I didn't know if I can get approved for financing if that would be a problem while in the process of a BK. Would the trustee ask about this? Would it be bad to finance this while in BK?
This maybe a stupid question, but I don't want any problems while we are going threw this, if it's best to wait til it's over I can wait til fall to try. I don't even know if they will give me a loan for this, but I guess it doesn't hurt to try. If they say no, I will just have to save.
