    Post-341 Shockeroo

My 341 went very well, with a very kind trustee who asked me a few questions but requested no further info.

Two weeks later, fingers crossed, and still no request for bank statements, etc.

However, I just found out that although I surrendered my share of my house in a divorce decree last year, my ex-wife failed to have the deed amended to reflect this.

I doubt we have any equity anyway as we had to refinance due to my unemployment at the time.

Is this something I should worry about? The trustee asked me if I had surrendered the house in the divorce and seemed satisfied at the 341.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

I don't think you have to worry about it. You would be able to amend you petition to address it if need be, plus, most divorce decrees include clauses regarding the signing of documents needed to make the decree effective (i.e. transfer of deeds), and if one spouse fails to sign, the court clerk can usually sign in place of the non-signing spouse.
