How to prove taxes were filed

Trustee is asking for proof that last 4 years taxes were filed..not the returns (except for 07), just proof....uh, what would that be? I have letters from the cpa's that they were being submitted for electonric filing but is that really proof? Maybe I'm missing something, will go back through the folders for those years to see. Any ideas?

Not that I can see, but I'm still looking...and I'm sure she'll send me copies if I don't find mine

I got transcripts from the IRS from one of the "stickys" at the top of the forum. It takes a couple weeks to get them but has all the info you should need.

Made the phone call and ordered the transcripts, and my CPA sent me her copies of the acceptance letter for 2 of the years I needed. Thanks for all your help.
